Buongiorno a tutti! Ovviamente sono passati di nuovo 2 mesi dal mio ultimo post, sono proprio pigrona :D Beh, non è che sia successo gran ché, ho preparato uno swap del forum XSP valido com calendario dell'avvento, per cui l'hand-made, che è il 25° regalo, non ve lo posso mostrare finchè la mia abbinata non lo scarterà :D comunque vi posso dare una piccola anteprima, su :D

Qui si vede ancora incompleto ma l'ho finito e mercoledi parte.

So, once again, it's been 2 months since I've posted for the last time.. I'm really lazy blogger!
By the way, not so much going on for me. I've joined a "Advent calendar swap" on the cross-stitch forum and i had to prepare 24 gifts + the 25th hand made. so here I'm showing a part of it.
Here it's incomplete but now it's finished and ready to be sent

Ieri sono andata alla fiera MONDO CREATIVO di Bologna e devo dire che è stata molto bella, sia per la grandezza e la varietà di cose mostrate che per il fatto che ho potuto conoscere e rivedere delle ragazze del forum XSP, e passare qualche ora insieme. E' stato bello girare per gli stand , ridere e chiaccherare tutte insieme.. sicuramente è da rifare.
Yesterday I've been to Bologna to visit the exhibition "Mondo creativo" (crafty world) and I must say it's been really great, it was very big and rich of ideas. I also had the chance to meet some girls of the cross-stitch forum and spend some hours together. It's been great to visit the booths all together, laughing and chatting!! I hope we will do it again!

da quanto tempo.. / long time no post

Mamma mia, sono passati quasi 3 mesi dal mio ultimo post.. che scandalo!!!
Beh, fra impegni medievali, lavoro, ferie non ho avuto né tempo né voglia di postare qui, ma ora mi sono messa d'impegno e vi prometto che sarò più regolare :D

Wow, almost 3 months passed since my last post.. what a shame!! Well, I've been very busy with my Medieval group, job, holiday, so i had neither time nor will of posting here.. but now I promised t give you an update and to post more often!

Innanzitutto spero che la vostra estate sia andata molto bene. La mia è stata bella, durante le ferie siamo stati in Toscana dai miei parenti e poi in Alto Adige per un festival medievale di ben 3 giorni, dove ci siamo divertiti tantissimo.

First of all I hope that your summer has been great! Mine has been really nice, during our holiday we've been to Tuscany to visit my relatives, and then in South Tirol for a Medieval festival of 3 days, where we've had a lot of fun!

Ho anche avuto modo di portare avanti - a rilento - le mie cosucce, e perciò ve le mostro.

Iniziamo con il quadretto per la casa nuova di Lorenzo (nipote di Ugo) e la sua fidanzata Laura. Su consiglio di Chiara non glielo consegnerò adesso (sono 4 mesi che abitano li.. mi sembra un po' in ritardo), ma opterò per un regalo di Natale, secondo me ne saranno più che felici. Cosa ne dite?

Il charm a cuore l'ho trovato per fortuna in una delle mie scatolette.. penso che doni un tocco di raffinatezza in più!!

I also had the chance - even if slowly - to update my works, that's why I'm showing them to you.

Let's start with this little frame for the new house of Lorenzo (Ugo's nephew) and his girlfriend Laura. Following my friend Chiara's advice I won't give it to them now (they moved already 4 months ago..), but I'll do that for Xmas, adding surely something else. They will be more happier.. what do you think?

The heart-shaped charm was in one of my "treasure boxes"... i think it's more classy with it!

Sono indietrissimo, in teoria dovrei essere alla terza tappa ormai, ma sinceramente non ho avuto modo di crocettare durante tutti questi mesi.

I'm really behind with it, i should be in the 3rd round, but sincerely speaking, I had no chance to cross-stitching during these 3 months

Finito questo progetto, devo iniziare quello per lo swap CREATIVO DELL'AVVENTO sempre su XSP, dove devo creare il 25° regalo del calendario dll'avvento per la mia abbinata. Vi farò vedere qualcosina fra qualche settimana...

Once this SAL ended, I need to start up with the SWAP "advent calendar" on XSP, where i need to make a hand-made gift as the 25th one. More updates in the upcoming weeks.

E veniamo alle foto delle vacanze.. questa è stata scattata a Siena, dove siamo andati a vedere le prove del Palio il venerdi 14 agosto. Davvero una bella esperienza!

And now, let's show some pictures of our holiday. First one has been taken in Siena, wher we've been in order to see the tests for the Palio (the oldest horse race in Italy), on friday the 14th of august. It has been a great experience!

e questa è stata fatta a Sluderno (BZ), in occasione dei Giochi Cavallereschi di Castel Coira tenutisi dal 21 al 23 agosto. Il vestito me lo ha modificato la Lisa, una ragazza del gruppo, e devo dire che è venuto un vero e proprio capolavoro di moda medievale :D

And this has been taken in Sluderno (Bolzano) during the Knights Games in Castel Coira rom the 21st to the 23rd of august. My dress has been modified by my friend Lisa, a member of the group.. and i must saythis is a real master-piece of Medieval fashion :D

Ciao a tutti!!
Dopo settimane in cui non ho preso ago e filo in mano, oggi ho passato ben 3 ore a crocettare e devo dire che è stato molto rilassante.
Purtroppo, per motivi femminili, non siamo stati al mare, non stavo proprio in forma e cosi ho deciso di passare il mio tempo cosi..
ecco il mio regalino per il nipote di Ugo a che punto è, non male vero?
Praticamente ora mi manca di finire quella striscia verticale che vedete a destra e poi la scritta tutta intorno.. verrà delizioso, sono sicura!!

Poi vi mostro anche uno dei miei ultimi acquisti. é una borsa cucita e ricamata a mano da dei bravissimi ragazzi down ospiti presso il centro diurno OPERA DON PIPPO di Forli. Sabato scorso abbiamo fatto una manifestazione medioevale proprio per loro e nella pausa ne ho approfittato per fare "shopping"! Questa borsa ora la uso per mettere dentro i miei lavori.. :) intonata con il resto del soggiorno :D

Sul forum di XSP ho preso parte al mio primo SAL (Stitch-a-long), ossia, non proprio uno scambio nel senso fisico del termine, ma uno scambio di opinioni, consigli, su un tema preciso, M. Sherry.

Ognuna doveva scegliersi il suo schema preferito, e ricamarlo sulla tela che decide lei, e io ho scelto questo, cosa ne pensate? è il September cat, quindi proprio del mio mese.. e lo trovo carinissimo.

Inizieremo a fine mese e le tappe saranno 4.. ci sarà da divertirsi!

Dolcezze

Dolcezze sono i gesti di amiche come lei, Michela, la quale mi ha inviato una busta con questi due pensierini: uno è un sacchettino profumato con all'interno le scaglie di sapone che le ho regalato io al nostro primo incontro a Venaria, l'altro è una coppia di fermagli di Hello Kitty per la mia "nuova" chioma che non tarderà ad arrivare.

Il tutto accompagnato da un bellissimo biglietto!
Mi ha colpita molto questo gesto che trovo molto molto bello e pieno di amicizia.

L'altra dolcezza di oggi... beh non ha bisogno di ulteriori commenti, ma solo di essere gustata... cosa ne dite di un po' di tiramisù alle fragole?

Sweet things are the acts of friends like her, Michela. She has sent me a little package with those little things shown in the picture: a little scented sachet for the closet, filled with some pieces of the soap I gave to her during our first meeting in Venaria, and then a pair of hair clips of Hello Kitty to celebrate my "new" hairstyle, which arrive soon.. :)

In the package there was also a very beautiful card, and this real act of kindness really touched me inside my heart, and i really really appreciate it!

The second thing.. well, it doesn't need to be introduced.. what about some strawberry tiramisu?

questo è il pensiero che ho fatto, seppure in ritardo, a mia mamma, per la sua festa che era domenica scorsa.

Il ricamo l'avevo finito da tempo, ma non riuscivo a trovare un supporto dove attaccarlo. Pensavo di dover cucire io il sacchetto, ma per fortuna ho trovato questa busta et voilà!

Al suo interno, un sapone al profumo di violetta, il suo profumo preferito.

Lo schema è un free di Romy e poi io ho rifinito il tutto con del nastro e dei mini fiorellini decorativi.

E poi per finire in "bellezza", guardate la mia gatta Macchia in che posa si è messa oggi... aveva un po' caldino direi.. :)

this post shows two things: first, the little present i gave to my mom for her day (even it was last sunday). I found the cute little bag in one of my drawers and i attached the cross-stitch on it, using only glue :D.
then i glued a ribbon and 2 mini flowers, they are so cute I think :D
My mom really appreciated it and now i found a very good idea for little presents to my friends!!

And the second picture.. well, it shows our Macchia on our bed. she 's sooooo cute here, isn't she?
